The mission of the International Museum of Art & Science is to promote a deeper appreciation of the arts and sciences through exhibitions, cultural events, and educational programs; and to expand, preserve, and display its permanent art and science collections.
McAllen Creative Incubator
The McA2 Creative Incubator, through the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, provides low cost artist studios, managerial advice, legal and technical support to qualified artisans with qualified projects. The incubator is housed in a building previously owned by our local community college, and has been made available thanks to an agreement between the McAllen Chamber of Commerce and the City of McAllen.
South Texas College Pecan Campus
South Texas College is a comprehensive college offering the Bachelor of Applied Technology, and associate degrees and certificates in 90 degree and certificate program options.
Espana Mediterranean Cuisine
Espana Mediterranean Cuisine under the orchestration of owner Isaac Guerra offers continental cuisine with a Mediterranean flare. Located in historic Old Town McAllen, Espana has grown during its' eight years of business into a destination restaurant attracting regulars and visiting celebrities.
Dodge Arena
The $20-million multi-purpose complex features a 6,800-seat arena that configures up to 5,500-seats for ice hockey, football and soccer and a center stage concert capacity of 6,800-seats.
Quinta Mazatlan - McAllen Wing of the World Birding Center
Quinta Mazatlan is the McAllen Wing of the World Birding Center operated under the stewardship of the City of McAllen Parks & Recreation Department.
Its mission is to preserve the 1930s adobe estate and the native plants and animals of the Rio Grande Valley, by providing a sanctuary for environmental education, eco-tourism and inspiration to people of all ages.
